Reminder And/Or Change of Venue

This year's Cup, including all its festivities (golfing, card-playing, eating and gathering) will take place at The Newark Country Club (or whatever it's called these days) in its entirety.

Refer to the Directions/Accommodations tab above for a convenient Google map of the Cup's location.

Future Cups: The Cup is held the first Sunday of August. According to Cup historians, this has always been the case so that everyone can make plans to attend well in advance.

Apology: Sorry for any misinformation regarding Cup location as well as its date.

Check It Out!

Welcome to the official McCormack Cup Blog, where updates, photos and other important info of this year's cup will appear. Anyone having photos or other such wonders to share, please feel free to send them to Stay tuned for email notices from this address - add it to your email contacts!

In less than two months (August 7, 2011 - save the date!) the 2011 McCormack Cup will be upon us. More than just golf, this years Cup includes a raucous day of fun for the non-golfing types (you know who you are). While others sweat and swing on the course, the rest will relax and enjoy Euchre, bocce ball and beverages at the sprawling estate of Mike and Kathy Calarco.

After the golfing event, all will gather at the aforementioned estate for food, beverages and the presentation of the coveted McCormack Cup.

More information and updates will appear at this site, so book-mark it to keep current. Don't miss out on the event that will hopefully transcend previous years tourneys. So sharpen your swing and hone those Euchre skills!
